Slithering into the limelight, the new dark presence, SiRPENT, emerges from the burrow to release her debut single, “Cycle,“ with her new skin. Formerly known as SiR, rises from the darkness to blend enchantment and mystery for her audience. SiRPENT unravels the first of many sonic sounds we are about to encounter for an Electric Hawk Exclusive Premiere.

Through the eerie atmosphere, we burrow through the caverns, following the sonic waves. While we feel the chills crawl through our skin, we immerse ourselves in the shadows. The stuttering bass waves alter our perspective, shifting our concept of time as we stagger through a constant flow within the murkiness. As we settle into the spine-chilling aura, we fall into a cycle while we become enthralled by the elegance of the darkness. Through the vibrations, we fall into a hypnotic trance, fully falling under the snake queen’s spell as we are officially under her control in the darkness.

SiRPENT marks an impressive introduction to her new skin. Establishing a mesmerizing environment within shadows and a mysterious atmosphere she is creating. Through the reverberating sonics, we allow ourselves to fall and align back into the chain. At the same time, we trap ourselves in the daze that puts on this sequence of discovering what can be found when lingering within the darkness. SiRPENT declares a pristine glance into what’s to come if you follow her orbit with only an introduction of the energy that seeps from the vibrations of her production. The secrets are patiently waiting to be unraveled for us to unlock the dominating power that SiRPENT shares. seradopa: Well, for our Electric Hawk audience that isn’t familiar, this is your chance to re-introduce yourself with the SiRPENT project! So, who exactly is SiRPENT?

SiRPENT: SiRPENT embodies the essence of dark femininity, blending the music with a commanding stage presence. My brand focuses on the elegance of the SiRPENT, symbolizing rebirth and strength while also leaning into the beauty and terror of it all. The music is a journey of deep depths with a heavy contrast with the melodies I make to embody the emotion behind the changes of the SiRPENT.

seradopa: What is the main reasoning for reinventing yourself from your original alias SiR to now SiRPENT? How has the journey been so far with starting the rebrand?

SiRPENT: When I started SiR four years ago, I didn’t have a clear vision in mind. I wanted to DJ and then eventually learned to produce, but there was no clear brand behind the name. I felt I had lost important parts of myself over the last couple of years and wanted to take all my skills and push them into my brand, creating SiRPENT.

On top of that, there are so many artists named SiR, when production became important to me, it was very difficult to find my music online, which was a big problem for me. “How could I build a community when my music wasn’t being heard?” I asked myself when I finally made the decision to switch.

The rebrand so far has been fantastic! The support from my peers and community has been incredible, and I feel more inspired than I ever have been. I’m working on many new visual concepts and with other creatives to bring my visions for SiRPENT to life!

seradopa: Is there a direct contrast between SiR and now SiRPENT? What will we notice is different between what was and what is now?

SiRPENT: The SiRPENT brand is not similar to SiR, besides the music I’ll be playing! SiR was a more relaxed branding, with vibrant coloring and a more streetwear style. SiRPENT will lean more into a pop icon style with dramatic makeup and intentional costumes. The sound is the same, with a relatively dark undertone of bass music, and I will now be releasing everything I’ve made that is techno also under SiRPENT!

seradopa: What should we expect as you continue to develop your new persona with SiRPENT? What is in store for the people about to be introduced to you?

SiRPENT: Expect music videos, more visual content, makeup videos, and vlogs to show the transformation and behind-the-scenes of turning myself into SiRPENT, consistent music releases, and a stronger online presence.
