The Portland-based producer releases their third single, “Call It Even,” off his upcoming album, Dawn, featuring the dazzling artist Pauline Herr through Ultra Music. Quiet Bison doesn’t miss a step and stays on trend with the rest of his music – wonderfully complex and pulls you in, wanting more.

Immediately we get to point with the start track, as we’re blessed with the vocals from Pauline Herr. The journey of someone that is struggling to get that answer from a loved one. The frustration of figuring what has gone south between the two. You can hear it in the lyrics, “I said that I just need a little space, but I don’t think we will ever talk again. Now you’re the one that’s leaving, let’s call it even.” It’s a catchy-chorus top line that stays repeating in your head throughout the entirety of the track. Subsequently, Quiet Bison is performing their talents with intriguing and complex instrumentals in the background. The complex melodies, resembling the anxious feelings of frustration in a playful manner, lead us to press repeat.
Naturally, the duo has created a very organic and wonderfully beautiful track with “Call It Even,” which leads to another impressive single coming from Quiet Bison.

While Quiet Bison may have had a setback with no performances in 2020, it doesn’t seem to have slowed them down. Without a doubt, be on the lookout to capture the talents and majestic sounds that Quiet Bison has to offer.
