“This song came together so beautifully. There was a different energy in the studio that day. I made the song earlier that morning before our session. I played a bit of it for Brieanna, and she loved it. Whenever I make a song with a vocalist, I like to play the audio and then sit down and discuss what we want the song to be about. We decided we wanted it to be about our power as we had gone through similar situations of choosing our career or this passion for music over past relationships we had been in. This song is about heartbreak and losing love but choosing yourself or your power instead. As artists, we often have to choose between relationships or our careers, which is very demanding and time-consuming. This song is about never giving up on yourself or your dreams, as that is where your power comes from. We all have a gift; we just have to choose to make it happen, even if we may lose something or someone.”
