TRICKR unleashes pounding yet fun-filled house single âTRIXâ primed for clubs and dancefloors.
Scott Coleman has seen substantial success in Arizona opening for the likes of Dillon Francis, Ghastly, A-Trak and more with duo PRVSM and landing residencies at several clubs around the state. But seeking more from his music career, Coleman moved to LA and launched project TRICKR. This fresh adventure is all about getting into some mischief, not taking life so seriously, and living in the moment.
Drawing inspiration from producers like JOYRYDE, Ghastly, and Habstrakt, latest drop âTRIXâ is full of ominous undertones. But over the hard-hitting bass, one can find playful lyrics: âSilly rabbit, want my TRIXâ. We love a good play on words.
TRICKR has notable fun on his newest release:
The vocals/lyrics of this record are very much open to interpretation and I wanted them to be a bit abstract for that reason, but the general vibe is definitely dark and mischievous with a hint of paranoia. Imagine that everyone wants what you have, but you know that they couldn’t really handle what you really have to offer. Sort of like saying âyou donât know what you’re getting yourself intoâ when someone asks you to try some really spicy food đ
TRICKR
The track sports an attention-grabbing build-up, followed by a pre-drop break with original vocals by TRICKR. “TRIX” hits its listeners with not one, but two massive bass house drops that will have everyones minds’ boggled and feet shuffling. Following TRICKRâs wobbly debut single âCops,â a BIJOU remix, and this heavy single, we are eager to see more from him.
