Szn One brings a whole new meaning to the term experimental with his latest release. “Part, Apart” is out now via our very own The Nest. This Atlanta based producer sets himself apart with each of his releases, this one being no different. With a unique sound all his own, intricate production, and a flow that keeps listeners guessing.

If you aren’t familiar yet with The Nest series, let us get you caught up real quick.

The Nest installment is our way of spotlighting newborn talent deep in the underground of our community. These finds could not be any fresher and don’t expect this to be the last time you hear from any of these artists. A new track drops every Wednesday so stay locked.

You don’t have to get too far into “Part, Apart” before you realize you’re in for a treat. As the track builds, new sound elements begin to strategically pile on top of each other, real Tetris hours. Before you know it, you’re tossed into this insane drop with drum and bass coming from all angles. Szn One cuts and chops up the chorus like he’s in the kitchen, and BOY are we hungry.

Just when your brain gets used to the madness, the script is flipped. We head into the two-minute mark of the track with some jazz flavor. The ending of this track comes with a totally different ambiance, but for some reason, it just works. Szn One teaches us to truly expect the unexpected with “Part, Apart.”
