Check Out Crooktoons Below!
Bemah is coming out the gates hot with this showcase. The burgeoning talent has seen massive support recently from some of dance music’s biggest DJs, including features in Liquid Stranger and Ahee’s epic EDCLV B2B and Effin’s standout set at Subtronics-curated Cyclops Cove. Earlier this month Bemah was hand-picked by Levity as the latest Discovery Project winner – earning him a coveted spot at Electric Forest this week!
A Showcase of Bemah’s Unreleased Best
A record of the delightful piece they’re going to play this evening. The old-school vocal sample introduces us to the unrelenting set that’s about to play. Crooktoons sets the scene with a graffiti pop aesthetic that perfectly encapsulates the street culture influence of Bemah’s genre-blending sound. Spotlighting the crisp beats that Bemah is gaining recognition for, the showcase starts with a hypnotic groove that draws us in from the get-go.
Bemah seamlessly weaves moments of deep tension into sub-heavy grooves. A breathtaking blend of old-school swagger with modern flavor. Powerful drops that land with thunderous energy. One particular standout is the nasty edit of ‘Imma Be’ which revives the Black Eyed Peas dance track with an electrifying pulse of low-frequency bass. But beneath the mind-warping sound design, Crooktoons remains firmly rooted in the hip-hop influences that define Bemah’s sound.

We’re stoked to see where Bemah goes next as his momentum continues to grow.
If you want a taste of this unreleased fire, be sure to catch one of his sets this summer. Bemah will be tearing down Tripolee at Electric Forest this weekend, playing the Discovery Project set on Friday at 3:45pm. Need a way to cool down after that? Bemah will also be playing Night Swim in Baltimore on July 17th – a bass music-themed pool party hosted by Offstage Sessions. Keep your eyes on this powerhouse!
