“The underlying theme is “Another Plan of Attack.”  Sometimes in life things are going one way when something very unexpected happens and presents an opportunity. You can turn the other way and continue doing what you were before, or you can lean into this opportunity and achieve things you never thought were possible.”

Jon “Barber” Gutwillig

Welcome to the beginning of what The Disco Biscuits have in store for Revolution in Motion!

Immediately, The Disco Biscuits bring the galactic grooves with “Shocked!” as they slowly ease the crowd into the funky environment of the spaceship we are in. As we continue to cruise through the stars, we settle ourselves into the jamming guitar rifts and energizing synths. Without hesitation, you begin to feel mesmerized by all the technology surrounding you. We watch the crew gather around the center console and begin charging up the crystal inside, as we prepare ourselves to go into hyperspeed into “The Wormhole”.

Sonically zooming through the iridescent tunnel, the cosmic energy is elevating throughout the ship. Throughout “The Wormhole” we begin to feel the mesmerizing vibrations that gravitate our bodies to sway. From all the intricate soundscapes, the band sets the tone of us cruising through space to reach our destination. The vortex of possibilities appears endless as we glance through the viewing port from the captain’s deck. Although not every voyage comes with ease, sometimes the crew may get “Twisted in the Road” while soaring around.

Any great crew can make adjustments along the way!

There is no time to panic, now comes the time to adjust to the extraterrestrial errors that are on the way. With no time to get off course, the crew scurries around the ship to assess the problems. “Twisted in the Road” brings a stimulating track that rushes electricity through the veins to get sh*t done. From all the magnetic rhythm and tangy riffs in the background, you truly begin to feel like the space cowboys of the universe. After some planning, it’s time to go ahead with “Another Plan of Attack”.

To conclude the first part of the voyage, the unexpected brings alarm to all our previous plans. However, there is nothing to fear with the abrupt changes. “Another Plan of Attack” is an amplifying reminder to continue pursuing with electricity and not be weary of the unexpected. Naturally, this becomes the biggest opportunity to overcome the challenges and reach new limits. From all the catchy-lyrics in the void and uplifting melodies, you just can’t help but smile along to the dangers ahead. Nevertheless, there is no time to be scared, we have a journey to carry on with.

The Disco Biscuits are a band with so much potential, they just had to go to outer space to reach it.
