This time, we are stepping into a different headspace. An opportunity to close our eyes and fully filter out the excessive outside noise. A leap to tap into that carefree spirit that slowly has become trapped and is awaiting to shine out. “Higher” unravels the airy and whimsical atmosphere of the EP. Through the soothing synths and chimerical waves, the audience ascends to somewhere different. Now fully settled into the atmosphere, Pretty Girl asks us to look “Inside” to discover more.
Ready to explore more into the newfound calmness, we wander through the soundscapes. From the mesmerizing tones, we feel the cozy sensations start to caress us as we begin gliding through the sparkling ambiance to feel a sense of comfort. While we aimlessly stroll along dazzling progressions, we begin to feel the decompressing pressure in our lives diminish. Leading us through the “Pond” of emotions, Pretty Girl pleads not to throw our progress “All Away.“ Now entering into a new territory in our journey, we feel the tingling and chills arise through our body.
Now we can fully reach our highest form
Our heartbeats start to follow the tempo of the intoxicating beat while our heads sway to the serene melodies. Unable to stop the undeniable flutters consuming us as we begin to disassociate from the spellbinding trance of Pretty Girl’s production. Through the cooling gradient lens, “All Away” leads us into the highest form of euphoria before we begin our descent back to reality. But Pretty Girl leaves us with a precious closure “My Trust, My Love” to keep close. It’s an elegant epilogue of serenity and reliance that leads us to regain our ambition and faith in our own lives.
Naturally, Pretty Girl gives the audience a chance to escape properly. No matter what may be disturbing the energy from within, she delivers an array of music for everyone to return to our center. The EP allows us to daydream and mute the chaoticness. A place where we can fully be in tap with our emotions and unbothered by the world around us. Through the sonic airwaves and glistening atmosphere, we can transcend to a happier place. And Get Back To Me reminds us to surrender the noise and liberate ourselves from our anxieties. Now halfway through the year and officially based in London to further her creative endeavors, Pretty Girl is ready to take everything to the next level. Already lined up on her schedule is a four-week residency in London’s Phonox this Autumn! She is also preparing to perform in Montreal with Mall Grab and US festivals like CRSSD Festival, Portola, and III Points.
