Take a moment to “Disrupt” the moment with sonic landscapes
We wander through a desolate atmosphere, the kinetic pulse around us intensifying with every step deeper into the soundscape. Quivering vibrations ripple through the air as the tension builds, signaling an imminent climax. The bass arrives in full force, booming, bone-rattling, ushering us into a heightened moment where melody and darkness intertwine. Our bodies sway beneath hypnotic, shadow-drenched tones, surrendering to the spell.
There’s a fleeting breath of stillness. Then the countdown cuts through. “1…2…3…Go,” and the energy detonates. We’re thrust back into the trance, locked into heavy pulses that pull and drag us across the floor. And just as suddenly as it consumed us, the surge releases its grip, setting us loose once more to drift through the stark terrain, changed by the journey through sound.
Nonetheless, KiLO displays his talents with “Disrupt” as we feel connected with the track. The track gives us the opportunity to stop and settle into our environment and push out the noise. While also immersing ourselves in a healing atmosphere to find clarity. Already, KiLO is an artist you want to have on your radar for the future. And this track is just an excellent example of what he is capable of displaying for audiences to discover.

“Disrupt” is a part of a six-part track compilation for rSUN, who is highlighting some of the best up-and-coming bass producers in the underground today. Along with showcasing new talent within the underground, rSUN and Gravitas are also promoting an even bigger movement with this compilation. In true alignment with their ethos, rSUN and Gravitas Recordings are directing proceeds from the release to ImmDef, a nonprofit social justice law firm dedicated to defending immigrant communities against systemic injustice within the legal system. At a time when conversations around immigration and equity feel especially urgent across America, the initiative underscores Gravitas’ founding mantra, “Doing Good with Good Music,” a principle the label has carried forward since 2011.
“For this compilation, I was hoping to put together a cohesive group of tracks from artists whose music I love playing out in my sets. Most of the artists are super underground and I wanted to give my platform to a bunch of projects I feel deserve the recognition.”
