Tomorrow’s a massive day for the up-and-coming Ethereal Collective. Slating their first cohesive project is a remix compilation of “soul dub.” by Haven Woods. The track displays spouts of reggae with a modest amount of experimental bass. We promote the Collective Unconscious remix off this compilation with great pleasure as this week’s Electric Hawk exclusive premiere.
The “soul dub.” remixes can be bought off Bandcamp, and 100% of proceeds benefit the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation. “soul dub.” found home with this philanthropy project due to Haven Woods enduring a devastating loss of a close friend. Thus, later inspiring him to produce a track paying homage to the celebration of life itself. Moving forward, Ethereal Collective intends on rolling out a sequence of remix samples by having each member dedicate a track to a charity of their choosing, and all donations will contribute to that cause.
Emerging bass producers or real life angels?
Everyone on our team makes such different music but what we all focus on is creating an original experience through our production. The whole goal for this project was to put artists on to doing things different from everyone else, in the best way possible. Thus our mission statement, ‘push art.’ It’s simple, we just want to push creativity.
