April 5th, 2019 will be remembered as a good day for the electronic music community.
Griz came out with his fresh new album, “Ride Waves“. Fans have agreed it’s been worth the wait. If you missed him at Buku, his tour is just getting started. Don’t miss a chance to see the artist that releases banger after banger.
Jai Wolf released “Cure to Loneliness”, and genuineness and emotion are most certainly not lacking on this body of work. He told Forbes “I have to be feeling something or inspired by something, which is why this album took almost two years to make” and that his album represents “a rollercoaster of emotions all sort of centered around that theme of loneliness” that “explores all the facets of loneliness on a spectrum.”
Our boys, Zeds Dead, released their “Close To Me” Remix with Diplo, Ellie Goulding, and Swae Lee. Just one blessing after another since they remixed “Bury a Friend” by Billie Eilish. Zeds Dead is becoming a go to when it comes to making songs receive that extra ‘oomf‘ of bass.
And if all that isn’t enough, the wizard Bassnectar dropped “Reflective 4”. The album has gotten some hate due to what seems like, just the name. Although many have taken the side of Bassnectar, he can do no wrong. The album is versatile enough to please any fan of electronic music, no matter the name of the EP.
These are only a few from last week. The amount of releases have been wild and it’s only going to get better. Avicii’s team plans to release his last single on April 10 and his last album June 6. Safe to say 2019 is a good year.
