In November of 2019, what may feel like a lifetime ago, an image of a glossy hand and floating feather took social media by storm, raising questions and suspicions. Ring any bells? This was the birth of Electric Hawk Records, along with the debut compilation album, In Harmony.
Since then, Electric Hawk Records has worked tirelessly to become a safe haven for underground musicians and the community surrounding it. Building rapport, the EHR discography features artists on the forefront of the bass scene like Slang Dogs, REZI, and Brunchbeatz, as well as showcasing other genres, such as wave, with iSorin and Noah B.
2020 held the release of the second compilation album, Rebirth.
While shows and curated stage takeovers were on the horizon, all came to a screeching halt when the pandemic landed in the US. But not for long. Adapting to the situation at hand, Electric Hawk soon launched Harmony virtual music festival, spanning several weeks of fun, chaos in the Twitch chat, and sets by artists from Skeler and Heimanu, to Mize and DMVU.
After taking a break from livestreams, it only seemed right that Electric Hawk was gearing up for whatever was next.
Now, almost a week after the official release, we are overjoyed to present the next step in the trilogy with our third compilation, In Unity.
To make it simple, In Unity has something for everyone. “Encompassing all of the special moments, the friends made, and the lessons learned last year,” the third compilation album is a home to diversity. Whether it’s Redrum‘s breathtaking “Fluid,” riddled with horns, McDonalds-Sprite crisp dnb from NIK P and Rohaan, or disco vibes from Muzzy Bear himself in “More and More,” you’ll find something you can resonate with.
And, of course, we couldn’t just leave it at that.
This Saturday and Sunday, January 23rd-24th, join us for In Unity virtual music festival!
With a set from each artist on the album, joined by a special guest, this one is going to be good. Broadcasted straight to your home, you can catch NotLö, Deep Tempo and Enigma Dubz, GRiZ, and more. Plus, it wouldn’t be an Electric Hawk livestream without a proper roster of VJs, including Goop Wizard, VJ Kobra, and VIN-E.
