Everyone’s favorite funky duo is back with MAJOR news. Big Gigantic returns to the scene with a brand new single, ‘Burning Love‘. This was followed up with an announcement that Big G will be releasing their 7th studio album. Free your Mind, which is expected to drop on February 28th has been long-awaited. It’s been 4 years since we received their last project, Brighter Future, which we have come to hold near and dear to our hearts. We still can’t fathom how insane February is going to be with all these new releases.

The musical landscape has changed a lot since 2016. However, one thing we know for certain is that Big Gigantic is guaranteed to always get your hips shaking to their groovy beats. Implementing live instruments with Dominic Lalli on saxophone and Jeremy Salken on drums, the two have the skills to craft funky yet rowdy music to match their high energy, live shows.

Our ears are instantly on vacation time

Burning Love’ is the fourth single off the album. With assistance from Kidepo, the gang takes you to a tropical paradise. Using shakers and other dancehall influenced instrumentation our ears are instantly on vacation time. Kidepo’s voice provides guidance for the listener through this mystical excursion. His vocals lead the way for a futuristic bassline that will help cure the winter blues. Of course, it wouldn’t be a Big Gigantic tune without that sexy saxophone. Dom complements the wavy basslines with his booming sax. Let the melody of the song relax your mind and take over your body as the soothing sounds ease over you.

Stream the new single below and immediately add it to your songs of the summer playlist. Check out HERE when you can see Big Gigantic this summer. With appearances already slated for Gem & Jem, Okeechobee and Electric Forest we are expecting a heavy dosage of Big G in your life this summer.
